Cat Ne is the one commune of Dai Tu district – Thai Nguyen province. The commune is rich in land resource and area of natural forest covered most of total area. Base on participatory land use planning oriented toward sustainable development, the farmers have collected experiences on management and organisation of land use planning. Furthermore particularily they understand what they have in present and what they will have to do in future.

            Up to 2010: Of the total natural area 2,860.0 ha, agriculture land area will be 2,307.48 ha, increasing 128.88 ha compare to 2006; non_agriculture land area will be 485.02 ha, increasing 239.72 ha; abundant land area will 67.5 ha, reducing 368.6 ha compare to 2006
