Brushless DC Motor (BDCM) has a lot of advantages in comparison with other electric motors, so it is widely studied and used especially in control systems working in special conditions such as: vacuum, temperature change, inflammability and explosibility,… which require high reliability. High efficiency, low maintenance and low rotor inertia of BDCM have increased the demand of BDCM in high power servo and robotic applications. This paper introduces DSP based electric drive system using BDCM. |
