Basing on Investigation into livestock food plants in Phu Dinh commune, Dinh Hoa district, Thai Nguyen province, we have classified statistically them by 85 species, 12 families that belong to 2 phyla of higher plants with vessel. The species have 5 different ecological groups types: Drought eduring plant, semiaquatic plant, inundable plant, semiaquatic plant – drought eduring plant and drought eduring plant - semiaquatic plant . Among them semiaquatic plant has the highest rate from 50% to 60%. The grazing value of the livestock food plants are classified by three levels: good, medium and bad, with the species of the good level predominates the most species from 50% to 60% of the total of species in each place investigated.
