Thai Nguyen has the San Chi ethnic concentration of second in the country; which at Phu Luong district, Thai Nguyen province San Chi ethnic people accounted for 35.8%. San Chi ethnic people in this ethnic group, their knowledge of medicinal plant resources are abundant. They are summed over generations and handed down from one generation to another. Although this knowledge are not recognized by science yet, through the using and testing in fact, people have been using it effectively. Through the investigation, we have obtained 132 species of medicinal plant resources and 41 remedies to treat 18 different kinds of diseases. According to the Red Data Book of Vietnam, we find out 6 species of rare and precious drug which should be prior to conserve.
