Organoclay synthesis from Prolabo - French bentonite and Binh Thuan - Vietnam bentonite in water/alcohol medium is studied by the methods as IR, XRD, TGA, SEM. The results are not significantly different when survey in the same conditions: reaction temperature of 300C, the volume ratio DMDOA / bentonite = 0.6, reaction time 4 hours and pH = 9. In these conditions, the d001 and organic content in the product respective is 38.651 Å, 32.93% (with French organoclay) and 39.239 Å, 31.85% (with Vietnam organoclay)..
